Meta launches Charm, a Tamagotchi-like wearable AI companion for its Muse app
🧒 Discovery
Meta made a tiny AI companion you can wear, like a Tamagotchi, so you can chat with it wherever you go.
📰 Essential
Meta is rolling out Charm in early access, a small Tamagotchi-inspired physical accessory that pairs with its Muse AI app for everyday use.
🔬 Expert
By pairing Muse with a dedicated physical object rather than just an app, Meta is aiming for a constant presence of its AI in users' daily lives, following the model of connected toys. The move fits into growing competition among AI companions against Character.AI and assistants built into standalone devices.
