What is it?
NotebookLM, renamed Gemini Notebook in summer 2026, answers only from the sources you give it: PDFs, Google Docs, websites, YouTube videos, audio. It summarizes and cites them, and turns them into study cards, quizzes and even a two-voice podcast.
🧒 Explain it like I'm 8
It's a librarian robot: you bring it your books and videos, it talks only about those, and it can even turn them into a radio show.
Three ways to use it
- Revise a course from your own notes
- Digest a thick file or report
- Turn documents into a podcast
